My Christmas Holiday

Hello Everyone, Well for my Christmas I went to Melbourne to be with my family. It was great, I went into Melbourne City on Christmas Eve (which is very exciting cause I live on a little island with NO SHOPS!!) so I went shopping and went to our little vietnamese noodle house that we use to go to for lunch when I worked in the city. On Christmas Day we had a great breakfast with mum and dad, that was when the drinking began... champs and Orange juice..... I was having to beat off my parents from putting grog down my throat LOL. Dad then had an option of 3 differant wines with Lunch and 2 kinds of beer.. then muscat wine and port with dessert...... I think I was the only sober person at the table LMAO. It was a great lunch... dad did lunch and we had Goose, prawns, Beef, and a lag of ham (there was only 6 of us!!!) so I was stuffed after eating lunch and had to have a nap before pudding ;) Then it was boxing day and we have MASSIVE boxing day sales in Melbourne so I was at the closest shopping centre at 8am! ready to shop!! and Shop I did! I shopped my damn arse off :) then went out to lunch with my dad's side of the family and hit the movies that night to chill out. The next day we went to our friends for a bbq and then hit FGI Friday's for our last night out. all and all it was great. we then flew from Melbourne to Mackay and were hiring a car to drive to Townsville (approx 5hrs) when were landing in Mackay they told us about th cyclone warning CRAP! and we had to drive to Townsville! the weather was horrible and very scarey to drive in ... windy as all hell and bucketing down rain... and As I was driving alone trying to see the damn road a flash of red and blue lights started up behind me ;) crap! I got pulled over and done for speeding....my first speeding ticket ever!!!!!!!! and the police man apologised for breaking my good record with fines, NEVER EVEN A PARKING TICKET! anyways we almost freakin died on the drive home and it took almost 7 hours!.. but we got home safely and stayed at a friends house in town instead of taking the ferry home. So that was my christmas story.. I hope you enjoyed :)
